For almost 80 years, Jaguar has been a leader in the luxury car market. Since the SS Jaguar 100 came out in 1935, the brand has delivered vehicles with exceptional performance, state-of-the-art amenities, and unparalleled safety features. The only disadvantage of a Jaguar is the high price tag. But if you choose to buy a pre-owned vehicle, you can get behind the wheel of your very own Jaguar without blowing all of your savings. Some of the used Jaguar models we have stocked at TexasCarsDirect.com include:
Produced from 2000-2008, the S-type sedan is now only available pre-owned, which makes it a great luxury car value. Available with both V-6 and V-8 engines, an S-type sedan is a solid car for everyday use, yet it still has that distinctive touch of class and style that make it a Jaguar.
XJ Series Sedan
For the ultimate in 4-door luxury, choose an XJ series sedan. The classic styling has changed very little since the XJ series was introduced in 1968. Newer models come with V-8 engines and light aluminum frames, but keep the old English aesthetic that has made the Jaguar brand an international phenomenon.
XK Series Coupe
If you are looking for a luxury sports car, consider a pre-owned XK Series vehicle. These sporty little 2-door vehicles are perfect for cruising around town or zooming down the highway. The sleek, bold body design makes a definitive statement, and the interiors can be equipped with features like power seats, navigation, and premium Alpine audio systems.
TexasCarsDirect.com stocks many Jaguars and other pre-owned luxury vehicles. If you want to drive a top-of-the-line car without paying a top-of-the-line price, chooses a quality used luxury vehicle from TexasCarsDirect.com. TexasCarsDirect will donate $100 for each car sold during the month of December 2012. We are evenly splitting the donation between North Texas Food Bank and Vogel Alcove – Childcare Center for the Homeless. The money received helps to fund programs that deal with the homeless and the hungry. This year we are focusing on children who need help. They are true victims in this world. There are families everywhere who are going hungry. And in today’s world, those families could be living around the corner.
TexasCarsDirect wishes to thank you, our loyal clients, for 30+ years of support.

Known today as one of the world’s foremost luxury car brands, Mercedes-Benz has long been a pioneer in the automobile industry. With a history dating back over 125 years, Mercedes-Benz created many of the innovative technological features that are now standard on many luxury cars. Just take a look at a few Mercedes-Benz milestones over the past century:
In January of 1886, Karl Benz patented a self-propelling Motorwagen that ran on gasoline. This featured the first internal combustion engine, and thus was the ancestor of all modern cars. In 1888, Karl’s wife Bertha, along with their two children, made the first long-distance automobile trip, travelling 66 miles from Mannheim to Pforzheim. There were no gas stations in those days, so Bertha had to buy small containers of gasoline from pharmacies to keep the Benz family on their way.
With a groundbreaking four valve cylinder, the Benz Special Touring car was introduced in 1910. This first multivalve engine was more powerful and used less fuel than other automobiles of the era. In 1931, Mercedes released the 170, a vehicle with independent suspension, individual wheel response, and hydraulic brakes, features that help Mercedes drivers stay safe to this very day.
In the 1970s, Mercedes began development on its new G-class trucks and SUVs, which were originally intended as military vehicles. These “cross-country wagons” have since become signature vehicles in the Mercedes line. In 1979, the first commercially available G-class vehicles were manufactured in Graz. The Vatican even ordered a special G-class that would become the iconic “Popemobile.”
Taking advantage of the latest computerized technology, Mercedes-Benz continues to create innovations in automobile performance and safety. The PreSafe system, for example, braces vehicle occupants for impact, and Attention Assist alerts potentially drowsy drivers when they need a break.
