Protecting Your Luxury Vehicle from Sun Damage

    Last updated 1 year ago

During the summer months, prolonged sun exposure can cause damage to the interior and exterior of your luxury car. There are several steps you can take to protect your luxury vehicle from sun damage. Wash the exterior of your vehicle on a regular basis, and apply a fresh coat of wax. Washing and waxing your luxury vehicle will ensure that your car’s paint is fully protected from the damaging effects of the sun. To ensure that the interior of your luxury vehicle is protected, you should park in the shade whenever possible. You can also protect leather upholstery by spraying a protective seal on the surface of your seats.

    A Quick Guide to Waxing

    Last updated 1 year ago

Waxing your car is one of the best ways to maintain its paint; but if you want to enjoy all of the benefits that waxing your car provides, it’s important to wax your car correctly. Before waxing your car, you should clean the exterior using a special car-cleaning solution. Never use laundry soap, dish soap, or household cleaners of any sort. Always clean and wax your car in the shade, as the sun can bake the products into the paint. After the car is clean and dry, apply a layer of wax to the paint, the wheels, and the headlights using a soft microfiber cloth. Let it stay on the car for as long as the product instructions say to do so. After the waiting period, use a different microfiber cloth to buff the car wax into the paint. According to car experts, you should wax your car once every three months.

At Texas Cars Direct, we have a large selection of high-quality used luxury cars that have been meticulously cleaned and waxed. If you want to get a great value on a used luxury car that looks new, visit our dealership. If you have any questions, visit our website or call us at (214) 736-8557 for more information.
